Eleanor and Geraldine
An illustrated children's book for ages 3 to 9, published in English, Spanish, and Japanese.
The story of a friendship between Ellie the elephant and Gerry the giraffe. Beyond camaraderie, it is about teasing, personal freedom, and accepting how others choose to live, and it is meant to inspire self-confidence.
Dr. Rosenbaum wrote it from a bedtime story he made up for his two daughters, both of whom are now physicians. The illustrations are by Douglas G. Katagiri, a lifelong friend.
